This project was completed with guidance from Michael Rigley during his Design for Production: Animation class. I was fascinated with the impossible ways life prevails near the ocean floor so I crafted my own creature and relied heavily on dynamics to ensure it felt organic. The sequence depicts the creature moving a molecule up its body to trigger a mating display that will penetrate the depths of the sea.
